Pepper Harvest

Tomatoes are starting to get ripe, and this was the first real harvest of peppers. We got a red serrano, some lovely anchos, a couple of jalapenos, and a paprika, not to mention a bunch of basil and dill weed. The dill is going to seed now, and it's perfect for making pickles.
I'm starting to get some heirlooms off the plants at Broadway. This is a lovely specimen!
And the Sungold is just loaded with fruit.
Now that it's only 90 to 100 degrees out, we resumed our walks. We're sad to see that they closed Caper Acres. So shortsighted.
After walking I went downtown to drop off zucchinis and curtains at the dojo. On the way, I checked out the progress on the couplet project. This is going to really fix this intersection.
Rick got busy and put up some plywood to help finish the bar interior.
And, we had a lunch today with the "not just ladies who lunch" and decided that we'll have to take matters into our own hands to get this pizza oven built, so we set a date for construction: Sunday, July 28, starting at 9 a.m.
