Asha's Yard

In my backyard, all the lovely orderliness of the farm is lacking. You'd think I'd have straight rows and nice wide aisles but... instead, the tomatillos are duking it out with the pumpkins for supremacy. It's taking constant intervention to keep them both from overrunning the peppers.
The Boston Marrows are doing great. This is the first one that formed, and it's starting to ripen up nicely. I slipped a pie tin under it to protect it from bugs and moisture.
The Galeaux pumpkins are forming nicely as well. They are as weird and warty as advertised.
The dancing gourds are just starting to put on fruit.
And back at the farm, the chickens have started laying more frequently. They laid one egg on Friday and  three eggs on Saturday.
