More Mulching

Right now, we're focused on getting the rest of the mulch down. It's a good thing RickC had access to so much straw, as we've used about four bales so far, and we aren't finished yet. We are close though. Here's how much is done:



Katinka blew through town on Sunday, on her way back to Ob's, then on to SF for the flight back to Australia.



The tomatoes are larger every day. That cluster we're watching is getting huge!



We've started to work on unearthing the old bathtub. It will make a fine swimmin' hole once we get it pulled out and drainable. This is sort of a "before" picture, although a lot of brush has already been cleared.



You can barely even see it in there! Here's another shot that shows the tub.



I'm planning to make this a wonderful little hideaway, surrounded by flowers and filled with cool clean water to rinse off in. It's gonna take a little work though! First, we have to get it propped up so it will drain.
